Grease Waste

Grease waste piping systems transport fat- and oil-laden effluent from commercial kitchens and food-service operations. In many installations, insulation alone is unable to maintain sufficient temperature for continual flow, leading to cooling, solidification, and blockage within the pipework. To address this, Chemelex provides the Raychem electric heat-tracing solution designed to maintain flow in grease waste lines for both exposed and buried applications. The Raychem self-regulating heating cable minimizes energy consumption by modulating its heat output in accordance with surrounding temperature conditions. As the pipe temperature increases, the system automatically reduces power, preventing overheating and enhancing long-term reliability
