Available Configurations

Splice Only (SP) – For direct cable transitions or mid-span access.
Splice + Patch (T, TA, TP) – Combines splicing with front access patching.
Connectorized Options – Pre-fitted with pigtails, adapters, and passive splitters.

CommScope’s advanced gel and wrap-around sealing kits ensure fast, reliable installation and environmental protection for all BUDI models.

Cable Entry Options

Push-Through Seals – For up to 24 cables with diameters of 5 mm or 7 mm, supplied with brackets and tie wraps.
Wrap-Around Seals – For 2–6 cables, suitable for 10–20 mm diameters, with foam sealing tape and cable fixation hardware.
Main Cable Seals – For the BUDI-2S, supporting 4–9.5 mm diameter cables.
Rubber Drop / Distribution Seals – Available for 4 × 7 mm or 12 × 5 mm cable configurations.

Together, these seal kits provide complete coverage from 5 mm up to 18 mm, ensuring a watertight and strain-relieved connection that meets IP55 performance when vertically mounted.

BUDI enclosures use the proven FIST Universal Mounting System (UMS), enabling flexible tray combinations:

Single Circuit (SC) – 2 fibres per tray
Single Element (SE) – 12 fibres per tray
Slim Element (SLE) – 12 fibres (25 mm bend radius) for high-density installations

Each unit also supports loop storage for uncut fibres and optional splitter modules for PON or GPON architectures.
