For larger-scale or more demanding deployments, the FOSC-600 family provides enhanced capacity, flexibility, and ruggedness:

Key Features & Capabilities

  • Supports butt (end) or in-line splice configurations
  • Up to 16 multi-out cable ports for branching and multiple cable entries
  • Accepts cables up to 35 mm diameter and supports up to 1,728 fibres in standard configurations
  • Uses gel-seal cable blocks for robust yet re-enterable sealing
  • Internal trays are hinged and removable to facilitate access and reconfiguration
  • Includes a storage basket for slack fibre or ribbon storage, which can be adjusted or extended vertically as required
  • Compatible with both single-fibre splices and ribbon/mass-fusion splicing (via appropriate trays and accessories)
  • Can be configured with C or D variants (C is shallower, D offers more height for trays)

Variants & Capacities

  • FOSC-600 C: More compact form (approx. 828 mm length × 152 mm height) for up to 5 D-type splice trays in a butt configuration
  • FOSC-600 D: Taller version (same length, greater height) accommodating up to 9 D-type splice trays in a butt configuration for higher capacity
  • In certain “XL” variants, capacities can reach very high splice counts using ribbon trays and expanded internal space

Outside Plant Demarcation Point

The FOSC-DMARC closure, designed and manufactured by Cable Accessories Ltd, is an environmentally sealed, single-ended closure providing both fibre splicing and patching in the external network.
It enables operators to establish an outdoor demarcation point without allocating precious indoor space for meet-me facilities — ideal for carrier handovers and multi-operator environments.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Single-Ended Design: Durable thermoplastic dome sealed with O-ring and clamp.
  • 6 Cable Ports:
    • 1 oval port for two backbone cables (Ø 10–25 mm each)
    • 5 round ports for drop cables (Ø 5–28 mm)
  • Flexible Sealing Options: Heat-shrink seals for traditional ducts or cold-applied gel seals for mini cables.
  • Dual-Side Internal Layout:
    • Carrier Side: Pigtail strain relief panel (48 fibres) or full patch version with 48 connector patch panel.
    • Backbone Side: 48-connector patch panel compatible with all standard adapter types.
  • Capacity : Supports up to 4 carriers of 12 fibres each, providing 48-fibre splicing and patching capacity per side.
  • Secure Access : Two hinged, lockable internal doors separate the carrier and backbone sides.
  • Integrated Overlength Storage & Pre-Fibering Options.
  • Built-In Ground Feed-Through and Pressure Relief Valve.
