PLYJACK – Self-Fusing High-Voltage EPR Tape

Plyjack is a high-grade, ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) self-fusing tape used for insulation and jacketing of low-, medium-, and high-voltage splices.
It provides excellent electrical, mechanical, and moisture protection ideal for field installation and repair.

Key Features:

High dielectric strength (> 30 kV/mm)
Self-amalgamating — fuses into a single homogeneous mass
Resistant to ozone, UV, and moisture
Excellent thermal ageing stability
Compatible with PVC, XLPE, and EPR insulation types
Continuous operating temperature: –40 °C to +90 °C
Emergency overload temperature: up to +130 °C

Primary insulation up to 69 kV
Joints and terminations in MV cables
Re-jacketing of damaged insulation
Moisture sealing of electrical connections

Plyseal is a conformable self-fusing mastic compound used as a moisture and environmental seal for medium-voltage joints.
It can be overwrapped with PVC or EPR tapes to create a complete insulation and sealing system.
