These ducts are engineered to withstand mechanical and traffic loads, providing robust and stable performance for all telecom, utility, and infrastructure projects.

Construction

Standard sub-ducts are manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), ensuring:

  • Excellent stiffness and crush resistance under soil and load pressure.
  • Long-term durability, even in challenging ground conditions.
  • Flexibility for installation in various environments and terrains.

Ducts up to 50 mm are dual-layer, combining a structural outer wall for strength with a low-friction inner surface to ease cable pulling or blowing.

Our ducts are suitable for a variety of installation techniques:

  • Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
  • Open trench installation

  • Standards: Compliant with EN 61386-24 and equivalent European ducting standards
  • Tensile Strength: ≥ 23 MPa
  • Density: ≥ 0.95 g/cm³
  • Melt Flow Rate: ≤ 0.4 g/600s (ISO 1133:2000)
  • Temperature Range:
    • Installation: –20 °C to +60 °C
    • Operation: –45 °C to +60 °C
  • Impact Resistance: 15 J at –5 °C (EN 50086-2-4)
  • Bending Radius: ≥ 10 × OD

Ovality: ≤ 3% (OD ≤ 40 mm), ≤ 5% (OD > 40 mm)

  • Available in black or orange, with other colors available on request.
  • Supplied in coils or on wooden drums depending on duct size.
  • Supplied without pulling rope.
  • Compatible with standard sealing systems, connectors, and fittings.
